    Police Report

    License Plate Stolen--Aug. 7, 10:50 p.m. on S. Santa Cruz Avenue. Unknown thieves stole the license plate from a rental car.

    Grand Theft--Aug. 7, 8:29 p.m. on Los Gatos Boulevard. A woman's purse was stolen from a fast food restaurant the previous evening.

    Assault Battery--Aug. 7, 7:42 p.m. on Peach Willow Court. Two neighbors got into a fight. One pushed the other and so he hit him in retaliation causing him to bleed. Police took a report,

    Theft--Aug. 7, 5:13 p.m. on Winchester Boulevard. An employee's wallet and $300 from the cash register was stolen from a business.

    Shoplifting--Aug. 7, 1:10 p.m. on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. A stack of six sweaters was taken from a clothing store. An employee gave the license number of the suspect's getaway car to the police.

    Arrest--Aug. 7, 8:49 a.m. on Lark Avenue. An employee at a business threatened and tried to stab someone. Police arrested the assailant.

    Vandalism--Aug. 6, 10:24 p.m. on Belcrest Drive. A vehicle was scratched and the rear windshield-wiper was removed by unknown suspects.

    Theft--Aug. 6, 3:04 p.m. on E. Main Street. Linens worth $500 were taken from a business. There are no suspects.

    Assault and Battery--Aug. 5, 1:57 p.m. on Pollard Road. A person intentionally struck another with his vehicle after a traffic altercation. Police took a report.

    Residential Burglary--Aug. 4, 4:39 p.m. on Via Santa Maria. A resident discovered jewelry missing from her home. She also noticed a screen had been removed and her front door was open.

    Vandalism--Aug. 4, 3:36 p.m. on Overlook road. A resident's daughter's car was keyed sometime during the night.

    Vandalism--Aug. 4, 9:44 a.m. on Los Gatos Boulevard. A parking space was vandalized and a vehicle was keyed.

    Theft--Aug. 3, 3:56 p.m. on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. A purse was taken from under a bench in front of a local restaurant.

    Auto Burglary--Aug. 3 2:11 p.m. on Los Gatos-Saratoga Road. The window of a car was broken and the stereo was taken. The car was parked in a restaurant parking lot.

    Stolen Harley--Aug. 2, 6:25 p.m. on Oak Rim Court. A 1997 Harley Davidson Motorcycle was taken from a car-port.

    Theft--Aug. 2, 12:12 p.m. on West Main Street. A girl's bike was taken from in front of a store.

    Vandalism--Aug. 1, 10:58 p.m. on Farley Road. A brick was thrown at a resident's car, damaging the car and windows.

    Theft--Aug. 1, 2:24 p.m. on Knowles Drive. Credit cards and wallets have turned up missing at a business over a period of weeks.

    Residential Burglary--Aug. 1, 12:38 p.m. on Brooke Acres Drive. A jewelry box and possibly other items were stolen from a home.

    Theft--July 26, 11:21 a.m. on University Avenue. A computer was taken from a business sometime during the night. There is no suspect information.

    Vandalism--July 26, 7:37 a.m. on Tait Avenue. The windshield of a sports car parked in front of a residence was shattered by an unknown suspect.
