Marking 50 Years

Longtime Los Gatans Lloyd and Florence "Tykie" Rose celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 1 at a party hosted by their children and their spouses: Richard and Linda Rose of San Jose; Ron and Vivian Rose of Los Gatos; and Al and Nyla Kientzler of San Ramon. Lloyd is the retired owner of the San Jose Inn Barber Shop. Tykie is retired from the Dillingham Corp. The couple lived in Los Gatos for 45 years before moving to Pismo Beach. They have three children, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
