Police Report

Possible Runaway--Aug. 10, 10:03 p.m., on Equestrian Way. Parents have not seen or heard from their 17-year-old daughter since she was dropped off at work on Aug. 5. The parents have called several of their daughter's friends, but no one has seen her.

Suspicious Call--Aug. 10, 2:51 p.m., on E. Main Street. A man called the Civic Center and said he saw two homicides where the suspect chained and beat an Asian victim and a German victim. No report was taken.

False Alarm--Aug. 10, 10:33 a.m., on Sycamore Court. An alarm in a residence was set off by an unauthorized user who says he was let in by a friend. Owners were contacted and confirmed the story.

Grand Theft--Aug. 9, 5:11 p.m., on Grosvenor Court. Two bicycles valued at $7,500 were taken from a closed garage.

Auto Theft--Aug. 9, 7:42 a.m., on Fairview Avenue. A resident had her 1990 Honda stolen off the street the night before. The car had two child seats in the rear and a window shade on the left passenger side.

Annoyance--Aug. 8, 1:30 p.m., on Redstone Drive. A parent called to report that her daughter found flowers on their doorstop with a card signed by "God."

Residential Burglary--Aug. 7, 10:14 p.m., on Los Gatos Boulevard. An unknown suspect entered a storage shed in the basement of a home. Golf clubs, a $350 mountain bike and power tools were taken.

Grand Theft--Aug. 7, 4:32 p.m., on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. A business owner called to report that two paintings, valued at approximately $14,000, were stolen after they were left leaning against a car in the parking lot behind the business.
