The Prowler

It's hard to believe summer had just begun the last time the Prowler wrote about personalized license plates spied in Los Gatos. The weather should stay warm enough the next few months for prowling out and about, so this cat will no doubt have another column on this topic again later.

One of the funniest plates--and pretty appropriate these days-- is KRZWRLD, on a small sedan parked on Almendra Avenue. No owner was seen, but it would have been interesting to find out what he or she thinks of life.

Speaking of crazy, some people think accordion players and fans are a little "off," but apparently the driver of the big sport-utility vehicle on Blossom Hill Road doesn't feel that way--the vehicle's plate reads SQEZBOX.

Another sport-utility vehicle, this one a red so bright these cat's eyes needed sunglasses, sported a plate that obviously belongs to a Los Gatos resident. Who else would call herself LDYGATO?

The luxury sedan at Highway 85 and Los Gatos Boulevard was definitely that of a visitor: AV95120. Perhaps this resident of San Jose's Almaden Valley wanted to see which city has nicer homes and prettier views. It'd be funny if this driver spotted the luxury sedan sometimes seen around town with the plate LG95030.

Although the truck on Andrews Street wasn't filled with art supplies, the Prowler suspects its driver may be a painter or at least an art fan, with a plate like H20KLRZ.

Ever get stuck behind a car that can't get out of its own way--not to mention yours? At least the driver of the SLOW VW on Los Gatos-Saratoga Road has the humor and the courtesy to give others fair warning.
