    General Plan Committee--Aug. 25, 6 p.m., Council Chambers. Committee considers whether to recommend Planning Commission adoption of the North Forty Specific Plan draft as is. This draft is based on the current general plan, which specifies commercial zoning. Also to be considered: whether to recommend studying residential use in North Forty Specific Plan area as part of general plan update.

    Planning Commission--Aug. 25, 7:30 p.m., Council Chambers. On the agenda: architecture and site approval for landscaping at new PG&E substation, and architecture and site approval to convert existing space into seven personal-care units and to modify the parking at the Meadows. Also, a number of public hearings on individual residential properties.
