    Police Report

    Driving under the influence--Sept. 6, 12:06 a.m. on Los Gatos/Loma Alta. Police arrested a man for driving recklessly under the influence of alcohol.

    Grand theft--Sept. 6, 11:08 a.m. on Lester Lane. Unknown suspects stole power tools from a resident's unlocked toolbox.

    Vandalism--Sept. 6, 3:56 p.m. on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. A business owner reported that skateboarders had damaged the inside of an establishment's elevator during the last two days.

    Burglary--Sept. 5, 9:02 p.m. on Izorah Way. Unknown subjects broke into an area residence through a window. Nothing was reported stolen.

    Under the influence of narcotics--Sept. 4, 10 p.m. on Oka Road. Police stopped a vehicle containing three men under suspicion of narcotics possession. During the stop, one man fled from police but was apprehended at gunpoint. During a search of the vehicle, police found a Luger handgun and after running the serial number found the gun to be stolen. The men were taken into custody and booked into the main jail on weapons and narcotics charges.

    Auto vandalism--Sept. 4, 7:37 p.m. on Ashler Avenue. A resident reported unknown subjects had slashed the tires of his Ford Bronco and Jeep Cherokee.

    Auto vandalism--Sept. 4, 5:36 p.m. on E. Main Street. Vandals slashed two tires on a resident's minivan overnight.

    Vandalism--Sept. 4, 10:34 a.m. on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. Unknown suspects destroyed the sign outside a business and pulled plants from the planter boxes outside the establishment.

    Auto vandalism--Sept. 4, 9:34 a.m. on Equestrian Way. Vandals slashed six tires on two of a resident's vehicles overnight.

    Drunk in public--Sept. 4, 9:09 a.m. on High School Court. Police arrested a man for public drunkenness. Witnesses believed the man to be a transient.

    Vandalism--Sept. 3, 7:01 p.m. on Wild Way. A resident reported seven golf balls struck her house just minutes apart. One of the balls broke a light outside her home.
