Andrew and Phyllis Krinock of South Pasadena announce the engagement of their daughter, Carrie Lynn Krinock, to John Robert Mesa, Jr, son of John Mesa of Los Gatos and Linda Bumbard of Stuart, Fla.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Mayfield Senior School in Pasadena and UC-Santa Barbara.

Her fiancé is a graduate of Los Gatos High School. He is the owner of Johnny's Northside Grill in Los Gatos.
