The annual Great America Carousel to Coaster Run returns to the local theme park Sept. 29, 8:30 a.m.
Participants will take off in 10K and 5K runs that begin and end in the parking lot on Great America Parkway and travel through the middle of the park.
The registration fee of $17 includes a race T-shirt for those who register by Sept. 18. The fee on race day is $20, and registration will be held from 7-8 a.m. T-shirts will be available while they last.
The event benefits the Friends of Santa Clara Parks and Recreation Department. For more information, call 984-3223.
