    A Blooming Payoff

Fourth-graders from Blossom Hill School plant bulbs at their school on Sunday. Very early next spring, daffodils and hyacinths should be popping up all over town, thanks to the efforts of the Town of Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce Beautification Committee and several other groups in town. Those who participated, in addition to community volunteers at large, were Congregation Shir Hadash, the four Los Gatos facilities of the Santa Clara County Fire Department, middle school students who are members of Club Live, and the town's parks and public works department. Bulbs were planted along Los Gatos Boulevard, Blossom Hill Road, the planter boxes on Santa Cruz Avenue, Main Street, at the library, fire departments and some of the schools.
