The Rev. Deanne Harris and Dr. Jeffrey W. Day were married June 29 at Kaimuki Christian Church in Honolulu.

The bride is the daughter of Richard L. Harris and the late Jeane D. Harris of San Jose. A graduate of Los Gatos High School, Foothill College and Wayland Baptist University, she is a minister with the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel, a founder of Mending Hearts Ministries and an international speaker and recording artist.

The bridegroom is the son of Jack and Jaine Day of Boise, Idaho. A graduate of Capital High School, Boise State University and Washington State University, he holds a Ph.D. in analytical chemistry and is employed by the U.S. Department of Energy as technical team leader of the Environmental Restoration Project.

The couple reside in Richland, Wash.

Weldon, Madsen

Kara Madsen and David Weldon were married July 20 at the Opera House in Los Gatos.

The bride is the daughter of Dale and Janet Madsen of Fremont. She is a graduate of Mission San Jose High School, UCLA and UC-Davis. She holds a master's degree in exercise science.

The bridegroom is the son of Ed and Sandy Weldon of Los Gatos. A graduate of Los Gatos High School and UC-Davis, he is pursing a master's degree in mechanical engineering at Santa Clara University. He is a mechanical engineer for Novellus Systems in San Jose.

The couple reside in San Jose.
