    Farce Within a Farce

Billed as 'a hilarious adult comedy,' Theatre in the Mountains' fall production of 'Noises Off' opens Oct. 7, and runs on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Oct. 22. A play-within-a-play, 'Noises Off' looks at the crazy calamities of a troupe of has-been and never-were actors rehearsing for a farcical production. Among the performers are Tad Kistner of San Jose and Adrian Young of Sunnyvale (back row) and Carolyn Manning of San Jose and Patricia Chaney of Los Gatos (front row). The nonprofit Theatre in the Mountains uses the Loma Prieta Community Center, at 23800 Summit Road, for its performances. Catered meals are available 90 minutes before each performance. For show times and ticket prices, call 408.353.9999.
