It's Country Fair time

The popular group Sage performs on the evening of Oct. 10 at the annual St. Mary's Country Fair. The event takes place Oct. 9, 10 and 11 on the grounds of the school, 30 Lyndon Ave. The event benefits the church and its programs, and aids in keeping school tuition reasonable. The fair, which runs all day throughout the weekend, includes gourmet food booths, carnival games, an arts and crafts boutique, prize raffles, bingo and amusement rides. Live entertainment is also part of the lineup. On Oct. 10 at 1 p.m., the Star Search 1998 Talent Show beings with local amateur performers competing in front of celebrity judges for cash prizes.
