Police Report

Commercial Burglary--Sept. 27, 7:24 a.m., on Blossom Hill Road. The caller reported suspicious flooding at a business. The cash register was open and the sprinkler system broken.

Petty Theft--Sept. 26, 3:06 p.m., on Rochin Terrace. A resident said mail was taken from her mailbox sometime during the morning by an unknown suspect.

Commercial Burglary--Sept. 26, 12:07 p.m., on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. An unknown suspect entered through a vent on the side of the building and took 10 cases of beer.

Vandalism--Sept. 26, 1:18 a.m., on University Avenue. The tree across from the fire station was set on fire by some type of flare. Shortly before the fire began, witnesses saw a car drive by and one of the occupants throw a possible flare.

Grand Theft--Sept. 25, 5:18 p.m., on Altura Vista. A woman's winter chenille purse, valued at $1,500, was taken by an unknown suspect.

Under the Influence--Sept. 25, 2:14 p.m., on Carlton Avenue. Caller reported that a 35-year-old male, wearing a T-shirt and underwear, was under the influence of crank. The caller said the man had grabbed her by her neck and thrown her out the door. The suspect was arrested on a parole violation.

Petty Theft--Sept. 25, 11:32 a.m., on Farley Road. A business reported that 40 gallons of gas were taken from their truck parked on the street.

Vandalism--Sept. 23, 8:24 p.m., on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. Occupants of an old truck were seen throwing a large firecracker into the back door of a business.
