    Harvest Boutique tea is planned

The local Sisters of the Holy Names and their Marie Rose Guild invite the community to a harvest boutique and high tea on Oct. 26 at the convent, 200 Prospect Ave. in Los Gatos.

The Marie Rose Guild, which consists of lay women, was formed more than 40 years ago to assist the Sisters of the Holy Names in charitable and educational work. The guild's particular focus now is on helping with fundraising and benefiting the elderly and infirm sisters in the convent's Care Center.

The harvest boutique runs from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. and features handcrafted gifts, homemade jams, collectibles and many items. The high tea, which includes tea, sandwiches and cookies, begins at 2:30 p.m. There is no charge to attend the boutique; tickets for the tea are $10. Door prizes will also be given away.

Reservations are requested by Oct. 18. For more information, call 408.395.2868.
