    Police Report

    Driving under the influence--Sept. 30, 2:20 a.m. on Los Gatos-Saratoga Road. Police responded to the scene, where a car had been driven into a building. Police found the driver was intoxicated and arrested him for DUI.

    Drug possession/use--Oct. 1, 3:55 p.m. on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. The caller suspected that a man in a service station restroom was using drugs. Police contacted the man, found him to be in possession of narcotics and arrested him.

    Juvenile disturbance--Oct. 1, 7:26 p.m. on Blossom Hill Road. Four juveniles were sitting on a curb and swearing at passersby. Police dispersed them.

    Noise disturbance--Oct. 1, 11:36 p.m. on Pinehurst Avenue. A neighbor complained of a large, loud party. Police contacted the party hosts, who said they would quiet down.

    Drunk in public--Oct. 2, 1:04 a.m. on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. Police saw a man involved in some type of dispute in front of a bar. The found him to be intoxicated and arrested him. They also discovered he had various outstanding warrants from three other law enforcement agencies.

    Speeding--Oct. 2, 11:16 a.m. on La Rinconada Drive. The caller wanted police to know of speeders on her street; that particular day they almost hit her car as she was backing out of her driveway. Officers on that beat will keep an eye on the street.

    Theft--Oct. 2, 4:55 p.m. on Los Gatos Boulevard. The caller left a bicycle unsecured while going inside a restaurant and came back outside to find the bike had been stolen. Police took a report.

    Juvenile disturbance--Oct. 4, 4:18 p.m. at Oka Road and Highway 85. The caller reported a group of juveniles throwing rocks onto cars driving along the freeway. Police searched the area but did not find anyone suspicious.

    Noise disturbance--Oct. 4, 7:59 p.m. on Leewood Court. A neighbor complained of a band practicing in a garage and making too much noise. Police contacted the musicians, who said they would lower their volume.

    Commercial alarm--Oct. 6, 12:21 a.m. on Lark Avenue. Police responded to an alarm at a business and discovered that the cleaning service had accidentally set it off.
