It's the Great Pumpkin

The Great Pumpkin appeared in Monte Sereno at the Winterbourne estate owned by Pamela Atwood, who has planted the squash seeds every May 1 for the past four years. Estate manager Tom Ward's granddaughter, Sarah Ward, sits atop the biggest of the bunch, which weighed in at 470 pounds. Ward says the 125-square-foot pumpkin patch produces bumper crops each year, thanks to a good mulch, chicken manure, Miracle-Gro fertilizer and a lot of TLC. Most Winterbourne pumpkins this year ranged from 90 to 275 pounds.
