Los Gatos Museum to show works of three local artists

The Los Gatos Art and Natural Science Museum's latest show, a triple bill of works by Bruni Sablan, Mark Gray and Mike Lindstrom, is set to open Oct. 29.

Bruni, as she prefers to be known, has a studio in Los Gatos and ongoing exhibits at the Old Town Gallery. A portrait of Duke Ellington from her Jazz Masters series hangs in the Smithsonian Museum.

Gray, who also exhibits at the Old Town Gallery, paints sports figures and has done murals for sports bars in San Jose, Sacramento, St. Louis and other cities. Lindstrom is an impressionistic and abstract painter whose works appear in Bay Area private and corporate collections, as well as some internationally.

A reception for the artists takes place Nov. 1 from 7 to 10 p.m. at the museum, located at 4 Tait Ave. Regular museum hours are noon to 4 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday. For more information, call 354-2646.
