Baseball Signups

The Los Gatos Little League will hold signups for the 1998 season on Nov. 12 and 19, 7-9 p.m. each night, for boys and girls ages 5-12 (as of July 31, 1998).

Players must provide proof of age, and also proof of residency (a September, October or November 1997 PG&E or water bill).

A donation of $95 per player is requested ($75 for each additional child from a family). The donation for T-ball is $75. The maximum donation per family is $200.

Los Gatos will field five leagues in the spring season. Tryouts will be held for players ages 9-12.

The league is also looking for adult volunteers, and there will be sign-up booths for parents at the registration.

The Los Gatos Pony (ages 13-14) and Colt (15-16) Leagues will also hold signups at the same times and place. A birth certificate is required, and the registration fee is $140 per player.

Softball Signups

The Los Gatos-Saratoga Girls Softball Association will hold signups for the 1998 season on Nov. 12 and 19, 7-9 p.m. each night, at Fisher Middle School, and on Nov. 22, 9 a.m.-noon, at Argonaut School.

The league is open to girls ages 7-14. The registration fee is $100 per player ($80 for each additional family member). All players must provide a birth certificate at the registration.

Youth Basketball

The Los Gatos-Saratoga Recreation Department will hold youth basketball signups through Nov. 17 at the Recreation Center, 123 E. Main St., for boys and girls in grades 3-8.
