Home & School Club plans rummage sale
The Van Meter Home and School Club is planning ahead for its first rummage sale, which will be held Nov. 9. Proceeds will benefit replacement playground equipment. Clothing, furniture, books, appliances, office equipment and other donations are welcome. Clothing should be in wearable condition, and appliances should be in working order. Items will be collected about a week before the sale. Anyone with particularly large or expensive items should let the club know, as the item may be given special billing.
