Suspicious vehicle--Oct. 24, 12:18 p.m. on Bicknell Road. A caller reported a white van with three people inside. Police discovered it was just some movers having lunch.
Suspicious person--Oct. 24, 3:55 p.m. on Magneson Loop and Los Gatos Boulevard. A man was trying to sell frozen steaks from a white pickup truck. He was gone when police arrived.
Burglary--Oct. 25, 11:59 p.m. on Belgatos Road. The caller came home to find a door open and a large Persian rug missing. Police took a report.
Suspicious person--Oct. 26, 1:41 p.m. on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. A man was using a business's sink as a toilet. He was gone when police arrived.
Drunk in public--Oct. 26, 7:19 p.m. at Alpine Avenue and Los Gatos Boulevard. A caller reported a man lying face down in front of a building. Police roused him and arrested him for public drunkenness.
Suspicious circumstances--Oct. 26, 7:39 p.m. on Newville Drive. The caller reported people are using crates to peep over the fence and look in windows. Police gave advice and made extra patrol checks in the area.
Disturbance--Oct. 26, 9:21 p.m. on Almendra Avenue. A caller complained of a loud party. Police contacted the hosts, who said they would quiet down.
Resisting arrest--Oct. 28, 5:04 p.m. on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. A man was yelling and screaming and was somewhat uncooperative when police contacted him. Police determined he was intoxicated and arrested him for public drunkenness.
Disturbance--Oct. 28, 5:30 p.m. on Spring Street. The caller saw a teenager steal a pumpkin from a neighbor's porch and flee in a car occupied by several other juveniles. The caller advised police that other pumpkins have been stolen from the street. Police gave the area extra patrol checks.
