Baseball Signups

The Los Gatos Pony-Colt baseball program will hold signups for the 1998 season in the cafeteria at Fisher Middle School on Nov. 19, 7-9 p.m.

The Pony League is for boys ages 13-14, and the Colt League is for boys ages 15-16. A birth certificate is required, and the registration fee is $140 per player.

Pony-Colt will hold its general membership meeting on Dec. 9, 7 p.m., in the home economics room at Fisher. The meeting is open to anyone interested in the Pony-Colt baseball program.

Pony-Colt is also looking for volunteer coaches at both levels. Previous experience coaching at this level or experience as a college player is preferred.

Little League

The Los Gatos Little League will hold signups for the 1998 season in the cafeteria at Fisher Middle School on Nov. 19, 7-9 p.m., for boys and girls ages 5-12 (as of July 31, 1998).

Players must provide proof of age, and also proof of residency (a September, October or November 1997 PG&E or water bill).

A donation of $95 per player is requested ($75 for each additional child from a family). The donation for T-ball is $75. The maximum donation per family is $200.

Softball Signups

The Los Gatos-Saratoga Girls Softball Association will hold signups for 1998 on Nov. 19, 7-9 p.m., at Fisher Middle School, and on Nov. 22, 9 a.m.-noon, at Argonaut School.

The league is open to girls ages 7-14. The registration fee is $100 per player ($80 for each additional family member). All players must provide a birth certificate at the registration.
