Speaker Morris Trevithick
Morris Trevithick, a Los Gatos resident and teacher of Christian Science, will discuss "The Logic of Christian Healing" Nov. 23 at 4 p.m. at the First Church of Christ, Scientist in Los Gatos.
Trevithick holds a doctorate in public and international affairs and master's degrees from the University of North Carolina and UC-Berkeley. He ran his own businesses and worked as a government economist in Canada before committing himself full-time to the Christian Science healing ministry. He first got interested in the theology while attending college in his native New Zealand.
A pipe-organ music program performed by retired Los Gatos schoolteacher James Nelson will begin at 3:30 p.m., followed by the lecture at 4 p.m. Child care is provided. The church is located at 238 E. Main St. For more information, call 807-8255.
