Police Report

Alarm--Nov. 7, 8:57 a.m. on Kennedy Knolls Lane. Police responded to a residential alarm and discovered the residents' cat had activated it.

Disturbance--Nov. 7, 3:03 p.m. on Pollard Road. A group of skateboarders refused to leave when the caller asked them to. They were gone when police arrived.

Burglary--Nov. 7, 7:43 p.m. on Los Gatos Boulevard. A teenage male tried to steal some beer from a store and was caught by an employee. Police arrested him.

Property found--Nov. 7, 9:21 p.m. on E. Main Street. The caller found a bag containing bills, personal papers and clothes and turned it over to police for safekeeping. Police took a report.

Suspicious person--Nov. 7, 10:29 p.m. on Rushmore Lane. A man in his 30s had been walking around in his underwear and peering into the caller's window. Police searched the area but did not find him.

Malicious mischief--Nov. 8, 8:57 a.m. on S. Santa Cruz Avenue. The caller was concerned about possible transients building cooking fires in the rear stairwell of a building. Police took a report and will be on the lookout.

Suspicious person--Nov. 8, 8:01 p.m. on Riviera Drive. Someone came by the sliding-glass door and snapped a picture of the caller and his girlfriend having an intimate encounter. Police checked the area but did not find anyone. They also gave advice to the couple.

Drunk in public--Nov. 9, 2:47 a.m. on S. Santa Cruz Avenue. A man was passed out in a bar. Police roused him and arrested him for public drunkenness.

Auto burglary--Nov. 9, 8:15 a.m. on Carlton Avenue. A vehicle's driver-side window was smashed and the stereo was stolen. Police took a report.

Noisy animal--Nov. 9, 11:51 a.m. on Mays Avenue. The caller complained that a neighbor's dog barks too much and damages the fence. Police contacted and counseled both parties.

Accident--Nov. 9, 1:50 p.m. on Oka Road. Police took a report at the site of a crash between two cars.

Disturbance--Nov. 9, 2:42 p.m. at Blossom Hill and Harwood roads. A group of teenagers was skateboarding in the street. Police counseled and dispersed them.

Malicious mischief--Nov. 10, 1:34 p.m. on Bancroft Avenue. Someone toilet-papered the caller's house. Police gave advice.

Alarm--Nov. 10, 7:12 p.m. on Grandview Avenue. Police responded to a residential alarm and found that a housesitter had accidentally activated it.
