Los Gatos Weekly-Times Cats running off to state meet The Los Gatos boys' cross country team will be chasing a state championship this weekend when the Wildcats head to Woodward Park in Fresno for the state meet on Nov. 28. The Cats won the CCS title a couple of weeks back when they ran up a low 43 points to finish well ahead of runnerup Gunderson (91). Zack Regner finished fifth in the CCS meet, Matt Bates sixth, Russ Martin eighth, Jeff Hoeft 11th and Jedd Martin 16th. The Wildcats are ranked No. 2 in the state heading into the weekend meet.
