    Let there be lights!

It's a bright idea popularized in the Midwest and on the East Coast, and now it's come to Lake Vasona County Park. The Fantasy of Lights features an evening drive-through tour of 29 holiday light displays--many of them animated--through Dec. 26. Organized by the Santa Clara County Parks and Recreation Department in partnership with the Silicon Valley Parks Foundation, the display offers families the opportunity to see holiday decorations and lights in the comfort of their own cars. Cost is $10 per car on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and $8 per car Monday through Thursday nights. Buses are welcome at a cost of $30. Gates open at 6 p.m. and close at 10 p.m. The entrance to Vasona is on Blossom Hill Road, west of Los Gatos Boulevard. For more information, call 408.358.3751 or visit www.fantasyoflights.com.
