    Teachers' wishes come true

    By Leigh Ann Maze

The Los Gatos High School teachers' wish list is being fulfilled this year by the Los Gatos High School PTSA. Almost all of the 36 wishes on the list have been granted, including a pottery wheel for the art department, a portable stage for the drama department and a new camera for the yearbook staff.

"The PTSA is able to purchase extras that are above and beyond the basic needs in a classroom," said Trudy McCulloch, Los Gatos High School's principal.

The PTSA has given about $24,000 this year to teachers, and through recent anonymous parent donations they hope to fulfill all of the teachers' requests. Shannon Kitzka, PTSA co-president, estimates that the PTSA will have donated about $30,000 by the end of the school year.
