The Cat Magic

The Cat Magic, a Los Gatos girls' under-10 Class 3 soccer team, scored in the second overtime period to pull out a thrilling win over the Almaden Rage in the finals of the Almaden Soccer Festival. Members of the tournament championship team were (front row, l-r) Melissa Shawhan, Nicole Anzoategui, Monica Rude, Alix Pruzansky, Danielle James, Caroline Smith and Monica Thomas, and (back row, l-r) trainer Paula Montagnoli, Anita Athavale, Rachel Moeller, Kristen Garfield, Kyrie Timbrook, Sarah Dean and coach Tina Rude.
