LGHS quarterback looks to the future
Trent Edwards is courted by fans, colleges
|
LGHS star quarterback Trent Edwards is getting attention from everywhere. Colleges have been hounding him; newspapers call wanting to know if he's decided where he's going next year; family friends and relatives call to offer advice--even his hometown newspaper is doing a cover story on him. Trent is also encountering a little hero worship. Trent was surprised when he first saw a little boy standing on the sidelines with his number, 5, hand-drawn on the front of the boy's shirt and Edwards written on the back. All in all, it's a high school boy's dream come true. But this is a lot of pressure for a young man who's just turned 18 and is not even out of high school.
