    Soccer Players

    The Los Gatos Metro, a boys under-10 Class 1 soccer team (under-11 in 2001), is looking for players for the upcoming indoor and spring seasons. Call John Cleveland at 408.395.7464.

    Volleyball Signups

    The United States Youth Volleyball League is now accepting registration for a spring program in Los Gatos. League play runs March 31-June 16 at Los Gatos High School.

    The coed league is open to players ages 8-14 and the fee of $90 per player includes instruction, games, uniform T-shirt and equipment. Teams will meet twice a week: on Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9-10 a.m.

    Basketball Camp

    The Steve Barnes Winter Basketball Camp will be held Dec. 27-29, 8 a.m.-noon each day, at San Jose State University. The camp is open to boys ages 7-13 and the registration fee is $75. Call 408.924.1245.

    Soccer Camps

    Veteran soccer coach Dave Gold will host a winter soccer camp for players ages 5-16 on Dec. 18-22 at Leigh High School. The cost for the camp is $215 per player. Call 408.997.7775.

    Baseball Camps

    Holiday baseball and softball camps for Little League-through high school age players are currently being offered by Hardkte World of Baseball. The indoor clinics feature instruction for two days, two hours a day, and the cost is $90 per camp. Call 408.866.8050 or check the website at www.hwob.com.
