Fisher wins consolation title
The Fisher Middle School girls seventh-grade basketball team won the consolation championship in the school division at the San Jose Metro tournament, competing against eighth-grade teams from throughout the Bay Area. Members of the team, coached by Cheri Anderson and Jon Anderson, include Giselle Birang, Alexa Anderson, Emily Augistine, Desiree McEntee, Stephanie Murphy, Jenny Tighe, Bailey Richardson, Ashley Anderson, Caroline Stege, Rebecca Mason and Jennifer Werner.
