Johnson sets English Trot record

Michelle Johnson set a new course record when the students at C.T. English Middle School held its annual Turkey Trot late last month.
Johnson covered the hilly course (just under a mile long) in 5:27 to set a new record and easily win the title in the division for eighth grade girls.
Johnson finished first in her division with Rachel Larson second and Chrissy Coleman third.
Nathanial Henry was the winner in the boys eighth grade race with Jake Schonig second and Max Hollander third.
In seventh grade competition, Don Gasper was the boys winner with Noah Henry second and Justin Whiteley third, and Brittany Wells was the girls winner with Jacqui Duzac second and Leanne Pfeiffer third.
In the sixth grade races, Shoshona Newman was the girls winner with Camille Bryant second and Lindsay Collishaw third, and Jimmy Jatho was the boys winner with Chris Impey second and Matt Snee third.
