County honors teacher from Blossom Hill
The Santa Clara County Office of Education honored Blossom Hill School teacher Joe Bolin as Los Gatos Union School District's Teacher of the Year at the 30th annual Teacher Recognition Day awards ceremony on Sept. 25, at the San Jose Repertory Theatre.
Last year, Bolin was president of the Teachers' Association. He also helped develop the peer assistance and review program, in which veteran teachers aid in newer teachers' professional growth.
Bolin and 27 other teachers in Santa Clara County were selected by their school districts for teaching subject matter in interesting ways, participating in activities for teachers, representing teachers positively, and showing sincere commitments to their students.
