Police Report

Embezzlement--Dec. 14, 4:56 p.m., on Blossom Hill Road. A business owner discovered that his bookkeeper of 20 years had embezzled approximately $20,000.

Grand Theft--Dec. 14, 12:51 p.m., on University Avenue. A business reported that a $2,000 bottle of Cognac was taken sometime during the night. They also reported that they have possible suspect information.

Grand Theft--Dec. 14, 11:51 a.m., on Roberts Road. A mother reported that her son's trumpet was taken from the music room at school.

Petty Theft--Dec. 14, 10:21 a.m., on Lora Drive. A resident discovered that $80 worth of items were taken from inside a package.

Petty Theft--Dec. 13, 10 p.m., on Los Gatos-Almaden Road. A Christmas tree lot owner reported that someone took his cellphone.

Grand Theft--Dec. 13, 2:42 p.m., on Albert Court. Three bikes at a total value of $1,200 were taken from a resident's backyard.

Commercial Burglary--Dec. 13, 9:10 a.m., on North Santa Cruz Avenue. Restaurant employees found the back door to the restaurant open and cash missing from the cash drawer.

Shoplifting--Dec. 11, 4:58 p.m., on Blossom Hill Road. A suspect was arrested for taking a Lunchable brand snack from a grocery store.

Petty Theft--Dec. 11, 4:13 p.m., on Los Gatos--Saratoga Road. A hotel reported that a guest, who had since checked out, took one of their tables from a hotel room.

Commercial Burglary--Dec. 11, 2:20 p.m., on University Avenue. A customer went to their storage locker and found that china, crystal, skis and boots were missing.

Trespasser--Dec. 10, 4:11 p.m., on Parr Avenue. A resident reported that an unknown suspect has been coming into her home during the day and eating her food, redecorating her Christmas tree and logging on to her computer.
