Prowler--Dec. 9, 11:04 p.m. on Pinehurst Avenue. The caller heard someone walking around the house, then heard someone knock on the door and run off. Police checked the area but did not locate anyone suspicious.
Alarm--Dec. 10, 7:58 p.m. on Los Gatos Boulevard. Police responded to a commercial alarm and discovered a cleaning crew had accidentally activated it.
Residential burglary--Dec. 11, 7:05 a.m. on Charter Oaks Circle. A backpack and toolbox with tools were stolen overnight from an unlocked garage. Police took a report.
Neighborhood disturbance--Dec. 12, 9:16 a.m. on S. Kennedy Road. A caller complained of a loud pump that begins running very early in the morning. Police contacted the pump owner and asked him to keep the pump quiet.
Alarm--Dec. 12, 11:57 p.m. on Blossom Hill Road. Police responded to a commercial alarm at a restaurant and discovered an employee had accidentally activated it.
Speeding--Dec. 13, 10:06 a.m. on Shannon Road. A caller reported that more police patrol is needed on the flat part of Shannon Road, due to frequent speeders at all times of day and night. Police will give the area extra patrols.
Domestic disturbance--Dec. 13, 5:35 p.m. on W. Parr Avenue. A neighbor heard a male and female yelling and carrying on loudly and feared the woman was getting hurt. Police contacted and counseled the couple, whose fight was verbal but not physical.
Juvenile disturbance--Dec. 13, 9:09 p.m. on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. A group of juveniles were sitting on planters and blocking access to a store. Police counseled and dispersed the group.
Theft--Dec. 13, 11:26 p.m. on Belmont Avenue. Two teenage males in a white or silver car stole two lifesize plastic Christmas carollers from the caller's porch. Police took a report.
Drunk in public--Dec. 14, 12:02 a.m. on S. Santa Cruz Avenue. A caller reported a woman passed out in a restroom. Police located the woman and called for paramedics, who took her to Valley Medical Center until she recovered. She was then cited, booked and released by police at VMC for public drunkenness.
Juvenile disturbance--Dec. 14, 1:21 a.m. on Bachman Avenue. The caller complained of an ongoing problem with noisy juveniles hanging out in the park. Police did not locate them but will give the area extra patrols.
Theft--Dec. 14, 2:05 p.m. on University Avenue. A juvenile male was in custody at a business after stealing some food. Police arrested him.
Neighborhood disturbance--Dec. 14, 11:54 p.m. on Ashler Avenue. A caller complained of people yelling. Police contacted the party host, who said the party would quiet down.
Juvenile disturbance--Dec. 15, 9:35 p.m. on Albright Way. A group was playing roller hockey in a parking lot. Police counseled them and sent them on their way.
