The 21st Assembly candidate and West Valley-Mission Community College Board of Trustees forum will be held Oct. 8 at 7:30 p.m. in the Baltic room on the West Valley College campus. Candidates will be present to answer questions and address issues relating to the upcoming election.
West Valley-Mission candidates in district area one are Bret England, Jack Lucas, incumbent Jeffrey Schwartz and incumbent Don Wolfe. There are two positions available in this district.
District area two candidates are Gagandeep Singh and Kevin Moore. There is one seat available in this district.
The Assembly candidates are Raymond Bell, James Russell and incumbent Joe Simitian.
Moderating the event will be Elizabeth Ansnes, a history professor at San José State University and a former Saratoga resident.
The League of Women Voters of Southwest Santa Clara Valley is sponsoring the event.
