Luncheon chatter was about the fall and holiday items now filling the shelves of Saratoga's Butter Paddle when members of the EMQ Junior Auxiliary, which staffs the gift and home accessory shop, gathered for their fall luncheon at the Plumed Horse. Active members welcomed those in the provisional class with flowers and warm greetings. The auxiliary raises funds for EMQ Children & Family Services through sales at the Butter Paddle.

San Jose Rep Kicks Off

Supporters of the San José Repertory Theatre celebrated the opening of the season with a dinner on Sept. 6 at the Capital Club prior to the initial performance of The Drawer Boy. Entertainment was provided by the Pick Pocket Ensemble.
