There are still vacancies on the town of Los Gatos arts commission, arts selection panel, historic preservation commission and library board. The filing deadline for the board positions is June 11. Interviews are scheduled for the June 21 town council meeting.

Red Cross needs
sites for summer
blood donations
The American Red Cross needs sites to hold summer blood drives in Los Gatos and other South Bay cities. Sponsors must be able to recruit at least 40 donors and have at least one empty room with 1,000 square feet of temperate space available for one day.

Residents will
air concerns
over Highway 9
A public meeting is being held to solicit input from residents of Los Gatos, Monte Sereno and Saratoga regarding pedestrian and bike safety on Highway 9. The meeting will take place June 17 at 7:30 p.m. at Monte Sereno City Hall, 18041 SaratogaLos Gatos Road.
Los Gatos Parks and Public Works Director John Curtis, Monte Sereno City Engineer Gordon Siebert and Saratoga Public Works Director John Cherbone will attend the event. For more information, call Siebert at 408.354.7635.
