Vandalism—Dec. 14, between noon and 5 p.m. Two soda machines outside the Los Gatos Swim and Racquet Club on Oka Road were damaged, apparently by someone attempting to remove money from them.
Drunk in Public—Dec. 14, 12:08 a.m. A man seen loitering in the parking lot of a Blossom Hill Road shopping center was found to be under the influence of marijuana and alcohol. He was arrested.
Grand Theft—Dec. 10, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Someone stole three pieces of jewelry from the glove box of a vehicle parked on Los Gatos Boulevard. There are no suspects.
Annoying Phone Calls—Dec. 9, 1:58 p.m. A Los Gatos man reported that his 15-year-old son received several calls from someone upset about an online transaction.
Grand Theft—Between Dec. 7, 9 p.m., and Dec. 8, 6:30 p.m. A woman reported that a wrist watch was stolen from the bathroom of her Spencer Avenue home.
Spousal Abuse—Dec. 8, 4:30 p.m. A 37-year-old man was arrested for abusing his spouse on Los Gatos Boulevard.
Petty Theft—Dec. 8, 12:25 p.m. A 56-year-old man entered a Los Gatos Boulevard grocery store, removed a pre-packaged dinner from a display case, and left without paying. He was confronted by store security personnel and tried to flee on his bicycle, but was apprehended. He was held for the police, who cited and released him.
Theft—Dec. 7, between 1:08 and 1:58 p.m. A 15-year-old girl's purse was stolen from Los Gatos High School while she was in class.
Burglary—Between Dec. 5, 5 p.m., and Dec. 6, 8 a.m. Someone entered two vehicles parked in the driveway of a Foster Road residence, and another in the attached garage, while people were in the home. A purse, a wallet and credit cards were stolen, and the cards were later used fraudulently.
Burglary—Between Dec. 2, 2 p.m., and Dec. 5, 2 p.m. A doll collection was stolen from a home under construction on Via Sereno Drive in Monte Sereno.
Vandalism—Between Dec. 4, 11:30 p.m., and Dec. 5, noon. A vehicle parked on Cypress Way was vandalized.
Possession for Sales—Dec. 5, 1:50 a.m. A 20-year-old man was stopped for expired car registration on Los GatosSaratoga Road at Highway 17. He was arrested for possession and transportation for sales of approximately three ounces of marijuana.
Forgery—Between Dec. 2, 7 p.m., and Dec. 3, 1:30 a.m. One or more unknown patrons used 18 counterfeit $20 bills to pay for goods at Mountain Charley's restaurant and bar on N. Santa Cruz Avenue.
Annoying Phone Calls—Dec. 1, between 6 and 9 p.m. A 44-year-old woman received two threatening voice mail messages on her cell phone.
Grand Theft—Nov. 22, between 1:30 and 4 p.m. A 41-year-old woman left a diamond necklace in a medical examination room on National Avenue. She later returned to discover that it was missing.
