Police Blotter

Attempted robbery--On Jan. 27 at 12:50 p.m. on Farley Road. A juvenile reported that he and his friends were approached by other juveniles who demanded money from them.

Hit and run--On Jan. 27 at 11:56 a.m. on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. An unknown person hit a car and shattered its mirror.

Liquor citation--On Jan. 26 at 9:49 p.m. on Farley Road. An adult homeowner was cited for hosting a party where alcohol was being served to minors.

Petty theft--On Jan. 26 at 9:37 p.m. on University Avenue. A sign was stolen.

Burglary--On Jan. 26 at 7:46 p.m. on Tait Avenue. A residential burglary was reported.

Auto burglary--On Jan. 26 at 5:20 p.m. on Oka Road. A vehicle was broken into.

Domestic violence--On Jan. 26 at 5:04 a.m. at University and Bachman Avenues. A man was arrested for violating a domestic violence restraining order.

Drunk--On Jan. 26 at 2:40 a.m. at N. Santa Cruz and Bachman Avenues. Two men were arrested for being drunk in public. At 2:14 a.m., also on N. Santa Cruz Avenue, a woman was arrested for being drunk in public and for possessing less than an ounce of marijuana. She was booked into the main jail.
