    Sheriff's Report

    Grand Theft--Dec. 24, 11:30 a.m. on Springer. On Dec. 18, someone took a ring worth more than $2,000 from the victim's bathroom. The victim said she called the suspect, who was the only other person in the residence, and the suspect said she had not seen the ring. The victim has not spoken to or seen the suspect since. The officer tried to call the suspect at her home and had no luck.

    Vandalism--Dec. 24, 11:10 a.m. on Crisp Avenue. Between 10 p.m. on Dec. 23, and 10 a.m. the next day, unknown suspects knocked down the victim's wrought-iron mailbox with a blunt, heavy object and broke it in half.

    Vandalism--Dec. 24, 8:40 a.m. on Granite Way. Between Dec. 10 and Dec. 24, unknown suspects pulled the victim's mailbox and wood post out of the ground. They also knocked over two ceramic flower pots and broke one of them.

    Drunk in Public/Possession of Less Than one ounce Marijuana--Dec. 22, 8:30 p.m. on Big Basin Way. The officer observed a male subject exit a van at a gas station. When the officer contacted the subject, the officer noticed that he smelled of alcohol and that his eyes were bloodshot and glassy.

    Vandalism--Dec. 21, 8:20 a.m. on Pierce Road. Between 6 p.m. on Dec. 20, and 8 a.m. the next day, unknown suspects damaged the victim's mailbox.

    Drunk in Public--Dec. 19, 8:30 p.m. on Fourth Street. The officer responded to a report of people talking loudly in the park. When the officer arrived and contacted the suspect, the officer smelled alcohol on her breath. The suspect staggered when she walked, had difficulty maintaining her balance and had glassy, red, blood-shot eyes. The officer arrested her and took her to jail, where she was booked into custody.

    Property for Destruction--Dec. 19, 4:30 p.m. on Lutheria Way. The respondent wanted to turn in a revolver for destruction. He told the officer he had gotten the revolver from his father and did not want it in the house.
