Auto Vandalism--Between 6 p.m., Dec. 26 and 6:30 p.m., Dec. 27. A vandal scratched the left side of a 1993 Corvette parked on Big Basin Way.
Auto burglary--Between 9:15 a.m. and 5 p.m., Dec. 21. Someone pulled a $350 tape deck and $80 headphones out of a 1992 Saturn parked on Via Real.
Grand theft--5 p.m., Dec. 18. A man rented a trailer and gardening tools from the A Rental Center on Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road, saying he wanted to work on his grandmother's yard. The items were not returned.
Annoying telephone calls--11:45 p.m., Dec. 18. A Saratogan who lives on Canon Drive reported that her brother-in-law made two harassing phone calls.
Vandalism--10:40 p.m., Dec. 17. Someone shattered the window of a Titus Ave. residence with a BB gun.
Grand theft--Between 10:30 p.m., Dec. 17 and 7 a.m., Dec. 18. A thief slipped into the unlocked garage of a McCulloch Drive house and took $1,450 worth of tools from an unlocked toolbox.
Auto vandalism--Between 8:30 p.m. and 8:50 p.m., Dec. 17. The left rear window of a 1991 Buick Regal was smashed.
Auto vandalism--Between 5 and 9 p.m., Dec. 17. A vandal shattered the right rear window of a 1989 Ford Taurus parked on Douglas Lane.
Auto vandalism--At an unknown time between Dec. 15 and Dec. 19. Someone smashed the front driver's-side window of a 1981 Oldsmobile parked on Dagmar Drive.
Strong-arm robbery--6:10 p.m., Dec. 15. A man who said he was selling magazines muscled his way into a Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road house and demanded money.
Public drunkenness--5:35 p.m., Dec. 15. Sheriff's deputies arrested a drunk man on Big Basin Way.
Annoying telephone calls--4:45 p.m., Dec. 14. A Tollgate Road resident reported that she had been receiving annoying telephone calls since Nov. 12.
Petty theft--Between 3:50 p.m. and 4:10 p.m., Dec. 10. A thief took a $50 purse containing $30 cash from an unlocked 1994 BMW parked on Allendale Avenue.
Possession of methamphetamine--3:51 a.m., Dec. 9. A sheriff's deputy stopped a driver for weaving along Saratoga Avenue near Highway 85 and arrested her for driving under the influence of methamphetamine. Her passenger was charged with possession of methamphetamine and being under the influence of methamphetamine.
Grand theft--Sometime between Nov. 6 and Dec. 6. A burglar took jewelry from a dresser drawer concealed in a second-story closet, the owner of the jewelry reported.
