    Sheriff's Report

    Reindeer Vandalized--Between Dec. 23, 11 p.m. and Dec. 24, 7 a.m. on Maureen Way. Victim last saw his Christmas tree and white-lighted reindeer intact at 11.p.m. on Dec. 23. When he woke up in the morning, he found that an unknown suspect had vandalized his Christmas decorations. The head of one reindeer had been ripped off and metal on the tree had been bent. The resident heard noises at 5 a.m. but did not look out his window to see what the noise was. There were no suspects.

    Commercial Burglary, Conspiracy to Commit Burglary--Dec. 23, 11:45 p.m. on Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road. A named suspect and another unidentified male suspect entered a store on Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road. The named suspect and another suspect had been seen stealing from the store on previous occasions. When store security began to watch the two suspects on Dec. 23, the two separated. The named suspect grabbed some film and walked outside. He was stopped by store security. He was booked for the above charges at the county's main jail. A videotape of the incident was booked as evidence.

    Intoxicated in Public--Dec. 23, 12:45 a.m. on Saratoga-Los Gatos Road. An officer responded to reports of a suspect pounding on the door of a residence. The officer arrived and saw the suspect in the witness' yard. The suspect had no shirt on and wet pants. She had a strong odor of alcohol about her. She was booked into the county's main jail without incident.
