    Sheriff's Report

    Vandalism (Mailbox Smash)--Jan. 7, 8:30 a.m. on Saratoga Hills Road. The victim said her mailbox was secure and intact at 4 p.m. on Jan. 6. During the night, the suspect smashed the left side of the victim's mailbox and knocked it off its wooden base. The victim did not hear or see anything during the night.

    Vandalism--Jan. 5, 8:10 p.m. on Sarahills Drive. The victim arrived home and discovered that an unknown suspect(s) egged his residence between Dec. 20 and Jan. 2.

    Attempted Burglary--Jan. 4, 2:45 p.m. on Saratoga Avenue. This is the third theft or attempted theft that has occurred at this business in the past three weeks. There are no leads or suspect information.

    Vandalism--Jan. 3, 1:50 p.m. on Saratoga Sunnyvale Road. The reporting party said the front window of a business was secure on Dec. 29, and that it was damaged when he returned to work on Jan. 2, at 7 a.m.
