A 38-31 win over Fisher of Los Gatos helped the Redwood Middle School girls eighth-grade basketball team clinch the West Valley League championship. The Griffins posted a 12-0 record in league play and were led by Alicia Follmar, Bryte Nielson, Irene Tan, Julia Anderson and Michelle Vetrone.
