Kay and Gaylan Kessel of Saratoga have announced the engagement of their son, Shawn Gaylan Kessel, to Rory Justine Anderson. They plan a March wedding at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
The future bride and groom both graduated from Lynbrook High School in 1989. Shawn earned his A & P license in aircraft maintenance at Sacramento City College, and Rory earned her pharmacist technician license at Monterey Peninsula Community College. Shawn currently works for United Airlines in Monterey, and his bride-to-be is employed as a medical assistant at a doctor's office in Monterey.
They plan to make their home in Monterey.
Kelly is the daughter of Lana Turner-Stewart of North Olmsted and Carl Stewart of Olmsted Falls. She graduated from Olmsted Falls High School and earned a degree in psychology at Santa Clara University. She is employed as assistant manager of Stoneridge Apartments in Walnut Creek.
Brian, a Lynbrook High School graduate, plans to graduate this spring from Chico State University with a degree in computer information systems.
