Falcons win, lose
The Saratoga boys soccer team pushed its record to 5-1-2 in the El Camino Division of the Santa Clara Valley Athletic League last week with a win, a loss and a tie.
A.J. Weitsman knocked in a first-half goal off an assist from Alan Sung, then Sung scored in the second half off assists from Anthony Lin and Brad Seago to lift the Falcons to a 2-1 win over Cupertino.
The Falcons, 8-4-2 for the year, had battled Milpitas to a scoreless tie earlier in the week. Saratoga opened the week with a 2-1 loss to Monta Vista. Weitsman scored off a Jason Mueller assist for Saratoga's only goal.
Pop Warner
