    Registration, tryouts set in area youth soccer programs

    South Bay Youth Soccer will hold registration on Jan. 27 and Feb. 10 (10 a.m.-2 p.m. each day) at the stadium snack bar at the Campbell Community Center for the following age groups for boys and girls: under-6, under-8, under-10, under-12 and under-14 (ages determined as of July 31, 2001).

    The season runs March through June, and the fee of $65 includes uniforms, a photo package and an end of the season award.

    Soccer Tryouts

    Tryouts for a new Campbell/West San Jose girls under-11/under-12 Class 3 soccer team will be held on Jan. 27, 8:45-10:30 a.m., at John D. Morgan Park (Budd and San Tomas in Campbell). For more information, call Tom Morman at 408.244.0533 or email tmorman@earthlink.net.

    De Anza Force

    The De Anza Force Soccer Club will hold tryouts on Jan. 27 at Kennedy Middle School on Bubb Road in Cupertino. Teams will play the spring season, then continue into the fall of 2001.

    Tryouts for boys and girls under-9 division (ages as of July 31, 1992) will be 10-11:30 a.m., and tryouts for the boys and girls under-10 division (as of July 31, 1991) will be noon-1:30 p.m.

    De Anza Wolves

    DeAnza Wolves, a girls under-16/under-17 Class 1 soccer team, is looking for players for the upcoming season. Players must have been born after July 31, 1984. Call Coach Owen at 408.464.9508.
