Sheriff's Report

Grand Theft--Jan. 7, 4 p.m., on Mt. Eden Road. A woman's $2,883 bangle bracelet was taken from a box in her bedroom. She said she had a party but is not sure when the jewelry was taken.

Commercial Burglary--Jan. 6, 9:20 a.m., on Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road. A shop owner arrived at her shop to find that it had been burglarized. An unknown suspect took approximately $3,000 worth of computer equipment and some cash. The suspect gained entry to the shop by forcing the front door open and breaking the doorjamb.

Vandalism--Jan. 4, 2:20 p.m., on Meadow Oak Way. A resident was out of town over New Year's weekend and left his car parked in his driveway. The rear driver's side window was smashed.

Grand Theft--Jan. 4, 12:10 a.m., on Vickery Avenue. An unknown suspect took two brand-new gas blowers worth approximately $1,000 from the bed of a landscape company truck.
