Saratoga News Katherine Chernick, David Fauvre Taryn Ferran, Christopher Arangio Engagements Fauvre, Chernick David and Beverly Fauvre of Saratoga announce the engagement of their son, David William Fauvre, to Katherine Horpel Chernick, daughter of the late Franklin and Leonie Horpel of Newport Beach. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Newport Harbor High School and attended Orange Coast College and DeAnza College. She is an image consultant in Menlo Park and founder of Reflections Unique. Her fiancé is a graduate of Saratoga High School, the University of the Pacific and the California Institute of Integral Studies, San Francisco. He is the advertising design manager of Microsoft's San Jose Sidewalk Internet Guide. Fauvre and Chernick are also the co-founders of Enneagram Explorations. They plan an April 1999 wedding. Ferran, Arangio Dave and Diane Ferran of Saratoga announce the engagement of their daughter, Taryn A. Ferran, to Christopher L. Arangio, son of Tony Arangio and Kathy Higgins of Arlington, Texas. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Monta Vista High School and Foothill College. She is employed by Hewlett-Packard in Santa Clara. Her fiancé is a graduate of James Bowie High School in Arlington and the University of Texas, Arlington. He is employed by Hewlett-Packard in Florida. They plan a May 1999 wedding.
