Saratoga NewsVillage BriefsFebruary is spay and neuter month During the month of February, the nonprofit Humane Society of Santa Clara Valley is campaigning against unwanted pregnancies--in dogs and cats! The society offers pet owners half-off the already discounted fee of having their pets spayed or neutered. This simple procedure helps stop pet overpopulation, reduces the likelihood of certain types of reproductive cancers and makes pets less likely to wander away from home in search of a mate. The HSSCV is at 2530 Lafayette St. in Santa Clara. For more information, or to make an appointment, call 727-3383 ext. 762.
